The attorney for the DOJ-Gagged Uranium One informant says her client even knows what the Russians were saying as the bribes were being paid to the Clintons and wants…
Lou Dobbs announces that “the House Oversight Committee is now finally investigating the Uranium One deal. It follow the Senate Judiciary Committee that launched an investigation last week.”
He notes that came about, “after reports revealed the FBI and evidence from an informant that Russian nuclear officials were involved in fraudulent dealings in 2009, before the uranium deal was approved.”
Dobbs continues, “Congressman DeSantis is calling for the Justice Department to now remove that non-disclosure agreement that prevents the former FBI informant from testifying about the bribery scheme before Congress.”
“Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s Department of Justice,” says Dobbs, “blocking the informant from testifying last year, threatening criminal action against him if he were to do so. Dobbs welcomes the attorney for the gagged FBI informant, Victoria Toensing, to discuss the strange and criminal goings on.
Dobbs begins by commenting on the extraordinary fact that the Republican Congressional leadership was blocking the investigation into this cover up and the Clinton sellout a year ago. She notes that the Republicans likewise joined with the Obama Democrats in doing the same thing to her with the Benghazi investigation.
Lou Dobbs asks why the head of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, Trey Gowdy, is not doing something, noting, “He was the head of various committees, including Benghazi, that produced absolutely nothing in the way of concrete results or resolution.”
Choosing discretion and to dodge the question, Teonsing declares how she is “glad that Rep Ron DeSantis is doing it, because he’s a former federal prosecutor and he’s a go-getter on this. I think he’ll do a great job.”
Dobbs turns the conversation to her informant “and the gag order that prevents him from going before Congress. Are you surprised that the Trump Justice Department has not lifted that gag order?” Once again, she deftly avoids the specific question and explains that she opted for a different path, going first to Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA) and the Senate Judiciary Committee.”
She says, “I think he has more authority in his requests than I do, so that was my strategy to and have Chairman Grassley, and God bless him too, because he’s been interested in this issue for a couple of years now. So he immediately issued a letter to the Justice Department and to me at the same time, asking to interview my client.”
“So he gave Attorney General Sessions until November 1st,” she says, “to cough up that NDA [non-disclosure agreement]. You know, we don’t even have a copy of it so we don’t know what it says.” Dobbs replies with a tentative, “But your informant presumably does have a very good understanding of what it prohibits him from doing.”
She gets into the bullying by Loretta Lynch if they didn’t kill an existing case, and a threat of the loss of individual liberty. Toensing doesn’t buy the DOJ claim that there is a criminal penalty for violating the non-disclosure agreement. She points out that it is unconstitutional if it prohibits her client from giving information to the legislature. The executive branch cannot bar communication to the equal legislative branch.
Dobbs asks why not simply get a decision from the dubious Attorney General to lift the gag order and move ahead with these committees. There’s been no reluctance to move ahead in the case of multiple Russia, Russia, Russia actions “without an iota of evidence or the definition of a crime.”
She characterizes what her client knows as “quite significant,” saying, “He can tell what all of the Russians were talking about during the time that all of these bribery payments were made.”
Yeah, that’s quite significant and there are other sources indicating that there is physical evidence including audio and video recordings. Clinton’s days of being able to just deny her way out of any trouble may be coming to a screeching, or perhaps cackling halt, along with those of the rest of her co-conspirators.
