Lou Dobbs has a few thoughts on “the latest efforts of the Dems, the left, the deep state to subvert the Trump administration and to try to damage President Trump in any way they can with the help of the left-wing national media.”
Dobbs continues, “Earlier today, deep state spymaster, former Director of National Security James Clapper was at it again. Talking his usual spook-speak that enthralls only the deadheads on Capitol Hill, Clapper, who previously has admitted there’s not a scintilla of evidence that President Trump or his campaign ever colluded with the Russians, travelled all the way to Canberra, Australia.”
Dobbs explains Clapper was there, “To tell Australia’s national press club about the difference between Watergate and the concocted claims of collusion with the Russians.” Dobbs then plays a clip of the treasonous former head spy, who provided the fabricated assessment that this whole Russia nonsense was initially based upon before recanting his assertions, smearing our President before all of the Australian media, an outrageous betrayal of our nation but no surprise to anyone who has watched this turncoat political hack throughout his tenure under Obama.
In the clip Clapper states, “I have to say though, I think, you know, compare the two, that Watergate pales, really, in my view, compared to what we’re confronting now.” Dobbs, less than impressed with his mumblings, responded, “Wow, what did he say? What can he possibly mean?” He then goes on to quote several of Clapper’s admissions over the past several months that there is no evidence of collusion between the Trump camp and Russia.
“Yet,” says Dobbs, “These latest comments, from the former Director of National Intelligence, are now simply laughably contradictory and typical of Clapper’s often uneven grasp of his own record and the reality that he has previously described.”
Dobbs points out, “Conveniently, they come just one day before Comey’s testimony before the Senate Intel Committee and of course, because these remarks were released a day early, we now know that Mr. Comey will support President Trump’s statement that he is not and was not under investigation by the FBI.”
Dobbs observes that statement by Comey “simply blows up the Dems pathetic efforts to attack our President and to try to subvert both his administration and the will of the American people. Clapper’s time has long since gone and his usefulness to the deep state and the Dems long passed. In fact, as you will learn in tomorrow’s Comey committee hearing, no one can help the Dems now and truthfully, no decent person should even try.”
