Ron DeSantis notes that it was just one day after the curious secret meeting that James Comey met with Trump to make him aware of the Steele dossier. He failed to reveal it was…
Tucker Carlson welcomes Rep Ron DeSantis (R-FL) to his program, who is also a former Navy JAG attorney, with some questions about the efforts of the Obama regime to cover their crimes by methods that included denying the incoming President access to documents and intelligence.
DeSantis says, “I don’t see how you can do that. I mean, just think about what Yates was onto at the time with, ‘Michael Flynn met with Kislyak, the Russian Ambassador.’ That was one of the reasons why she sent the FBI agents to Flynn, once they got in the – so they were creating some type of boogeyman really, right out of Flynn acting like any incoming National Security Advisor would.”
Noting that a president’s legitimacy comes from the voice of the voters, he asks how one ‘president’ [foreign impostor] can say ‘I don’t think the next guy should have this, I don’t think he’s worthy.” Come on, Tucker, it’s not only a matter of not thinking he’s worthy, they were afraid that they’d be exposed and face criminal prosecution. That’s why the documents were buried in the custody of their deep state minders.
Oddly, DeSantis says he thinks it’s improper conduct but apparently not illegal, not that it would have had any impact on the Obama-Clinton-Soros Mafia either way. He points out that the January 5th meeting in the Oval Office was followed the next day by Comey briefing Trump on the Steele dossier. Showing Trump the dossier was the mechanism for it being leaked to CNN and then everywhere else. [[VIDEO BELOW]]
He points to the absurdity of her writing an email stating that Obama said “do it by the book” as she’s literally walking out the door for the last time. “She was trying to create a record and the question is, why did she feel the need to do that?” Carlson asks, “Well what’s the answer?”
DeSantis replies, “I think we have to find out the answer,” noting the flood of information being fed to the press on a daily basis by Obama holdovers and others disloyal to their nation.
DeSantis points to the ridiculous contentions in the dossier that “the Russian oil company or energy company was going to give him a ten percent stake or twenty percent stake, in a company that is so big that would have been ten billion dollars, that they were going to give to Carter Page. And the FBI used that to get surveillance.
Carlson asks if he is overstating it, as just a normal person reading the dossier, “it seems prima facie absurd, I mean, you’d have to be a moron to take that at face value.” DeSantis agrees, saying it’s spectacular and that Comey was actually right when he described it as “salacious but unverified.”
Carlson adds, “But yet they used it as the basis for spying.”
