DESANTIS – NUNES-GOWDY MEETING JUST MORE DOJ STONEWALLING, SANCTIONS A MUST

Rep Desantis isn’t fooled by the diversionary stall tactic of the DOJ meeting with Reps Devin Nunes and Trey Gowdy. It wasn’t a productive meeting as Gowdy claims,…

Brian Kilmeade asks rhetorically if it’s possible that the FBI planted a mole inside the Trump 2016 election campaign. He notes that if they did it would contradict the claims of the Sessions DOJ that the information that led to the start of the witch hunt came from a drunken conversation between George Papadopoulos and a “civic minded” Australian official in a London bar.

Kilmeade’s guest, Rep Ron DeSantis, is asked, “What do you know about what could be a setup with this entire investigation?”

He responds, “Well, I know that we’re actively trying to get the underlying document that would tell us, ‘Did they spy on the Trump campaign or not?’ And I think the reason why a lot of us were suspicious is because Glenn Simpson, at one point, the head of Fusion GPS, testified that there was a human source inside the Trump campaign, based upon his conversations with Christopher Steele.”

“So it suggests,” says DeSantis, “that Steele, as a British agent, may have been working with somebody who the FBI was also working with. So we just need to get that information, yes or no. And here’s the thing, I think that I may know the person, just based on what I have learned, not even classified, but we don’t even need to know the name.”   [[WATCH VIDEO BELOW]]

He says, “We just need to know did they, in fact, target Trump’s campaign, yes or no. It’s a very crucial fact to know to see how this whole thing started.”

Kilmeade observes, “So the President’s Justice Department is slow-walking this. Some theorize they want the House to flip and go Democrat so they won’t have to deal with this at all. So Devin Nunes and Trey Gowdy went over last week. Did they see anything, did they help with this investigation, do they have a follow-up appointment?”

DeSantis replies, “I think there needs to be follow-up. My understanding is that they had discussions, there were concerns raised from the Justice Department, but I do not think that they fully answered Chairman Nunes’ questions.” Of course, that was never DOJ’s intent. They’re stalling and laying the foundation for a PR effort to convince the American people that filtered information covering up DOJ and Obama regime crimes is all Congress is entitled to.

It’s worth noting he says “Chairman Nunes’ questions,” as Nunes has been saddled with the establishment yoke of Rep Gowdy, who has been in full support of the obstruction, praising the delivery of censored information and the chance to get more cherry-picked crumbs from DOJ. Gowdy described the meetings as productive when in fact nothing of substance has been obtained and the cover up continues. DeSantis knows better and makes that case to Kilmeade and his audience.

He points out “We’ve been going back and forth on this stuff for months in different varieties and they need to produce the information otherwise there needs to be some type of sanction, whether that’s contempt of Congress or something else.”

Kilmeade points out that the AG is not Eric Holder but Jeff Sessions, appointed by President Trump. He asks, “What is the problem, this is unprecedented?” DeSantis gives the grossly corrupt or inept Sessions an underserved benefit of the doubt, saying, “Well, I think the problem is I don’t think Jeff Sessions is involved with this because of the initial recusal. So a lot of this is being done between the chairmen of the respective committees and the Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein.”

He says, “It’s not actually reaching Sessions’ desk.” How long is Congress going to let Sessions milk that excuse before they, and the President, act to end the charade of justice at the DOJ and put someone with some vigor and determination into that position? At what point does the equivalent of “it’s George Bush’s fault” stop being allowed to plague DOJ and the American people.

  1. hell.
everyone with a BRAIN knows the MUSLIM FRAUD DID THIS, as a pay back for Trump making him SHOW HIS FAKE BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
    has everyone Forgotten that?

  2. The ping pong game goes on and on. So Sessions recused himself and is not getting the requests. I suppose he doesn’t watch any news or look at any papers. After all that is how 0bongo found out about things.
