Rep Ron DeSantis is interviewed on the topic of the Wednesday deadline for compliance with Congressional subpoenas for documents relating to the forces at DOJ and the FBI behind the Russia hoax and their related plot to subvert the Trump Presidency.

Asked “What will we learn?” DeSantis replies, “Well, hopefully we’ll learn the answers to a lot of these questions, that are key questions but yet that have been outstanding now for months and months.” He references a question asked by the host, of what started the collusion probe.

DeSantis says, “I asked Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein that very question under oath in front of the Judiciary Committee. He hemmed and hawed and would not answer the question. So it’s a little odd to me when DOJ will not answer that but yet there are some people, either in the FBI or DOJ who have no problem leaking that to the New York Times.

He says, “That attempt strikes me as an attempt on some people within the agency to deflect from the dossier because they know the dossier has gotten so much attention. That report that Fox did about McCabe’s testimony in front of the Intel Committee, I think was really devastating because, according to that report, McCabe said they didn’t verify anything other than the fact that Carter Page went to Russia, which is not necessarily a big deal.”

DeSantis vows, “So we’re going to get those answers to the dossier but clearly people are trying to say ‘oh, don’t worry about the dossier, there were these other things.’ I’m not sure that the Papadopoulos explanation is really any better, in fact it’s probably thinner than even the dossier, just some guy at a bar drinking.”

DeSantis looks forward to getting some simple answers to some not too complicated questions about the involvement and actions of key individuals within the DOJ and FBI.

He observes that “We’ve gone months and months without any answers to the questions and for me, the reason why I’m determined to get the answers is because I think that if the answers were innocuous, I think we would have gotten the answers a long time ago.”

DeSantis is asked about the sailor who’s sitting in federal prison for taking benign photographs inside a submarine and compares that to the deliberate acts of espionage by Clinton and Abedin, “how they had all of this classified information on these unclassified servers and computers, and yet none of them were held accountable during this whole time.”

He reminds the audience about the destruction of 33,000 emails by the criminal Clinton – Abedin operation as well, which has never been prosecuted or even properly investigated under the protection of the DOJ cover up machine.

  1. Way to go DeSantis! About time someone came a long and got the ball rolling. Arrest those in the DOJ who will not give Congress what they want or the FBI. Arrest them all, clean the swamp! If tomorrow comes and you do not get what you want then jail time for all of them then go in and find the information you need. Oh yes, Jeff Sessions the first to be arrested.

Does anyone think any of these criminals will pay? I mean, what about Comey who leaked docs to the NYTs and is free as a bird? What the hell is wrong with the rule of law?

  3. Well tomorrow is the deadline and I’m interested to see what happens. We’ve had an unending response from all of them how this is bad, should not be tolerated, should be gotten to the bottom of, answers must be given, They must be accountable.

I still believe they now have had enough time to restructure, scrub, and otherwise rework the evidence. I will be surprised if antone, other than a paid off grunt, is held accountable.
