John Conyers has the Democrat wagons circling around him, providing cover. One frustrated Congresswoman is having no part of it, walking out of the Caucus, stating it wasn’t
Surprisingly, a New York Democrat appears to have a moral component to her character. She is standing against the groping good old boys of the political establishment as they attempt to sweep the issue of their own sexual misconduct under the congressional carpet.
Rep. Kathleen Rice actually walked out of the House Democrat Caucus meeting on Wednesday morning prior to its conclusion, telling reporters waiting outside that she was frustrated in her attempts to deal with her colleagues.
Now she knows how the rest of us feel trying to get through the thick skulls of globalist Democrats, particularly where their own corruption is indicated. It’s impossible and so was her task of attempting to persuade them to take a more strident position opposing sexual-harassment and holding Rep John Conyers accountable for his proven sexual misconduct.
We haven’t heard from his victim because she was forced, under House regulations designed to protect offending Congressmen, to sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to her $27,000 settlement after she was fired for refusing to have sex with the Michigan Democrat.
Washington Post reporter Dave Weigel tweeted regarding Rice’s premature departure from the meeting, quoting her as saying, “I don’t have time for meetings that aren’t real.” Apparently she’s had enough of Congress doing what they always do, talking about taking corrective action rather than actually taking it.
Rice is one of two Democrats who have called for Conyers to resign from his position. The other is Rep Pramila Jayapal of Washington State.

Jayapal, who is an extreme leftist immigrant from India, said, “This is a watershed moment where, finally, the country seems to be waking up and realizing we need to have a zero tolerance policy toward sexual harassment. We cannot pick and choose. Democrats cannot lambaste Trump and Moore, and then turn a blind eye to our own who face credible charges against them.”
The key word there is credible. The charges against both President Trump and Judge Moore are ancient history that was never accompanied by any credible evidence. Conyers’ offenses were settled in an internal arbitration with taxpayer money paid and are consistent with a pattern of abuse on the part of Conyers that many have witnessed, with four of them joining this particular victim and testifying on her behalf. There’s no comparison.
