Nancy Pelosi said the Democrats planned to “strike while the iron is hot” in her gloating address following their surprise agreement with President Trump on the debt ceiling, budget continuing resolution and hurricane relief package. She wasn’t kidding.
On Thursday House Democrats, led by Luis “the Roach” Gutierrez and his fellow Latino supremacists in the Hispanic Caucus, filed a discharge petition to begin the trickery that could ultimately lead to a vote on the so-called DREAM Act.
With President Trump having already signaled his support and demonstrated he’s willing to side with Democrats it just might pass the House. Then it would be up to Mitch “White Flag” McConnell to show some backbone to stop it. The pro-invasion Democrats once again seems to be running the show in the swamp and holding the advantage.
The DREAM Act is a substitute for the illegal actions by dictate of Hussein Obama in creating DACA which creates an amnesty and their infamous “path to citizenship” for illegals who violated American territory with their illegal invader parents, who they will then turn around and petition. It’s simply an extension of the anchor baby concept to foreign-born non-citizens.
A discharge petition is a procedural tool by which House members are able to bring a bill to the floor despite the leadership’s opposition. It is generally used by the minority party and requires signatures from a majority of members to bring a measure to the floor.
The House rules require a bill to have been introduced for 30 legislative days or days in session before a resolution to discharge can be filed. The DREAM Act was introduced on July 26th, which, due to the August recess, is less than the required 30 days.
Democrats plan to exploit a loophole that allows for a substitution of a related bill that has already met the time requirements on a discharge petition. The waiting period once that switch is made is just seven days.
House Minority Whip Steny H. Hoyer’s staff has found what Democrats claim is a suitable shell host for the text replacement, a measure called the Today’s American Dream Act, which meets the time restrictions. Democrats took action Thursday night with a resolution to discharge the Today’s American Dream Act and substitute the text of the DREAM Act.
The clock is now ticking and we can expect massive efforts by the globalist Democrats and their propaganda partners in the media to promote, arm-twist, obstruct, intimidate and bully their way to success in both chambers of Congress.
The racist chairwoman of the “Congressional Hispanic Caucus,” Michelle Lujan Grisham, joined Hoyer in a statement, saying, “We are asking all Members of Congress who believe it is wrong to deport young people brought to this country as children to join us in this effort. In many cases, these ‘DREAMers’ have known no other home than America. Common sense and compassion must now prevail.“
Common sense says she don’t reward invaders with citizenship, lady, and to that extent we patriots also hope it prevails. But our side is “led” by cowering dogs with their tails tucked chest high. Fear is their guiding emotion, fear of a loss of donations, and for their positions. Even with a majority our position is invariably on shaky ground.
All Democrats are expected to sign the bill and there are more than a few treasonous Republicans who will likely side with them. Two are already ‘DREAM’ Act co-sponsors, Rep Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) and Rep Mike Coffman (R-CO).
President Trump, who ran on a platform of a now forgotten border wall and tougher enforcement, has indicated by tweet and directly to both Pelosi and Sen Chuck Schumer (D-NY) that he would sign a bill if it reached his desk.
There is a rotting stench in DC and unfortunately, it is not a result of the receding, stagnant swamp waters. It is the receding dedication to principles and commitments that is fouling the air and our nation in this time of what we had expected would be a rebirth.
