Delta Attacking NRA Could Cost Them A Whole Lot Of Money In A Hurry

Delta airlines adopted the ubiquitous “me too” posture, piling on the NRA and discontinuing discounts for their members. Georgia lawmakers weren’t amused. Delta’s bottom line…

The Delta Airlines slogan is a simple one, “keep climbing.” Their management would have been well advised to have taken it into account before they stooped to new lows and alienated not only millions of NRA members, their families and patriots who support the Second Amendment in general.

Delta jumped on the “NRA kills kids” bandwagon that is being driven by the left and discontinued discounts for NRA members. They blamed lawful gun owners across America for the actions of a single criminal and the failures of multiple segments of the law enforcement community and system in Florida to properly respond.

The Georgia Senate blocked a lucrative tax break bill on Monday that would benefit Delta Air Lines after the Atlanta-based company severed ties with the National Rifle Association.

On Monday, what began as simple piling on against the easy whipping boys of conservatives by another leftist-intimidated or anti-American corporation became an expensive error in judgment, as politicians in the State of Georgia decided Delta needed to be taught a lesson in what it means to be a good corporate neighbor.

Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle decided that he would no longer support tax legislation benefiting Delta through a reduction in its tax liabilities “unless the company changes its position and fully reinstates its relationship with the NRA.” Cagle joined an increasing number of conservatives who came out in objection to the measure over the weekend.

Gov. Nathan Deal and other supporters of Delta’s $50 million jet fuel sales tax exemption have now been forced into a defensive posture, with more Republicans aligning in an effort to remove the provision from a broader tax-cut bill that has already passed the State House.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the action has been driven by infuriated conservative lawmakers. It’s been too easy for too long for leftist agitators and their lockstep corporate partners to simply react by attacking conservatives.

Whether Delta reinstates the discounts or not, the message going out is a clear one. We’ve had enough. The left will never stop and they can’t be reasoned with, but taking money out of the corporate balance sheet and holding those responsible for the stupid decisions just might.

Target never has recovered from their same-sex changing room policies that accomplished nothing other than to promote the leftist pro-homosexual agenda. Does Delta really want to follow that lead?

I haven’t flown Delta in years, flew American in January and hated it, and American used to be the best. I hate flying. It has become a horrible way to travel when it used to be so fun. Unless you have the bucks to go first or business class, forget it…drive. And Delta, you are stupid to push political crap and lose business, but then that’s typical of companies today. Thanks, we know to not fly you for any reason.

Delta’s management is really dumb. Same with Coke. They’ll pay… sooner or later, they’ll pay.

  3. This is great. Conservatives finally being conservatives. Hopefully this is the beginning of a “get some spine” movement.
