If you’re one of the millions of Americans who have ever wanted to just reach out and knock the snot out of CNN’s Chris Cuomo, you’ll appreciate this clip of him losing his always tenuous grip on his composure and getting out of line and disrespectful with OMB Director Mick Mulvaney.
His obvious intention for what is little more than a pretend interview that provided the pretext was to get Mulvaney in front of a national audience and berate him. He must have envisioned himself defending the integrity of that bastion of journalistic excellence, CNN, from wrongful attacks for reporting fake news. Predictably, none of that happened.
In what is exceptionally condescending, even for the always caustic Cuomo, he chastises President Trump through his guest, saying, “That’s what you do in a situation like this, you report the reality. And it’s not being done to you Mick, to the President to embarrass you, it’s just being able to reinforce the need.”
Actually, it is, Chrisy boy. His and his network’s endless carping with the San Juan Mayor are evidence enough of their bias and their agenda. Cuomo continues, making sure to refer to Mulvaney by his first name, a further act of disrespect.
It’s worth noting that he never referred to the Mayor of the mismanaged money pit of San Juan, their favorite tool of demeaning the President, as Carmen. She’s their partner and therefore deserving of respect. Cuomo continued his filibustering attack, saying, ” Whatever is being done it’s not enough, Mick, and if you don’t know that now you’re never going to know it. But I have to believe you understand the reality.”
Of course there is an implied acknowledgment of failure in that statement, a cheap shot and a trap that Mulvaney is much too smart to walk into. Instead he dishes out the same type of insult back to the ranting Democrat, saying, “Well, the good news is that you’re clearly going to do a better job going forward and we appreciate that.”
After ranting and raving, Cuomo responds to being completely rebuffed and disarmed in twenty words by again going on a tirade. Unable to formulate any specifics to advance his unfounded arguments, he opts for vague and general, saying “I don’t even know why you want to have that kind of discussion.” Was he not aware of the words that were coming out of his mouth?
Cuomo then goes on to brag about the number of people CNN has down there conducting their biased, leftist hit job on the President and the relief effort in third world Puerto Rico. It’s as if a greater number of liars makes the reporting more honest. “We couldn’t do any better job than we’ve done so far. CNN has been down there like an army of ants.”
Pissants, Cuomo, an army of pissants. And if that is the best job CNN can do, to fabricate a story of failure our of the reality of a strong effort in a dysfunctional land then whoever made comments regarding the fake news reporting, including President Trump, was exactly on the mark.
Go have a drink, Cuomo, maybe pop a few of those meds you’re obviously off of. Calm down and just accept and admit that you and your network are scumbags.
