Clinton Points Finger At Trump, But PR Relief Mgr Says Just Need Time and Drivers

Espionage criminal and pandering political hag Hillary Clinton couldn’t resist stepping into the controversy surrounding President Trump’s relief efforts in the territory of Puerto Rico, as she’s once again drawn to the aroma of helplessness, victimization, corruption and exploitation.

She offered to do the same things for them that she and her crooked husband, teamed up with the Bush hucksters, did for Haiti. She responded to President Trump’s criticism of the dysfunctional Democrat Mayor of San Juan, Carmen Yulin Cruz, by tweeting to her the message “Don’t let anyone make you feel alone. We are with you and Puerto Rico.” That’s the same promise they made to Haiti, and they’re still waiting for the checks.

Clinton was, in her typical uninformed or unconcerned with the truth manner, responding to President Trump’s tweet stating, “Such poor leadership ability by the mayor of San Juan, and others in Puerto Rico, who are not able to get their workers to help.”

Cruz was all over television this week, doing her Democrat duty to vilify President Trump, stating in melodramatic fashion, “I will do what I never thought I was going to do. I am begging, begging anyone who can hear us to save us from dying. If anybody out there is listening to us, we are dying, and you are killing us with the inefficiency.”

Of course Cruz and Clinton are both playing politics and either ignorant of or choosing to ignore the facts, information that they should have available to them first hand, particularly the whiny mayor, and especially if she’s found the time to make it by the FEMA communications center.

According to Colonel Michael A. Valle (”Torch”), Commander, 101st Air and Space Operations Group, and Director of the Joint Air Component Coordination Element, 1st Air Force, responsible for Hurricane Maria relief, who is Puerto Rican born and raised, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) response supporting FEMA in Puerto Rico, is second to none.

He says, “As a Puerto Rican, I can tell you that the problem has nothing to do with the U.S. military, FEMA, or the DoD. The aid is getting to Puerto Rico. The problem is distribution. The federal government has sent us a lot of help; moving those supplies, in particular, fuel, is the issue right now.” They can’t move the fuel that’s needed to run the generators.

He pointed out, “It’s a lack of drivers for the transport trucks, the 18 wheelers. Supplies we have. Trucks we have. There are ships full of supplies, backed up in the ports, waiting to have a vehicle to unload into. However, only 20% of the truck drivers show up to work. These are private citizens in Puerto Rico, paid by companies that are contracted by the government.”

He defended the AWOL drivers, saying, “There should be zero blame on the drivers. They can’t get to work, the infrastructure is destroyed, they can’t get fuel themselves, and they can’t call us for help because there’s no communication.

Valle was asked three times what more Washington can do to help. He responded each time with the same answer, “It’s going to take time.”

He added, “As a Puerto Rican, what happens here for the people is personal to me. To say that we are not provided all of the help and resources needed is just not true. Distribution is the key, and we are working day and night on it. I’m here, my own family is here, I know how hard this is. We need to keep doing what we are doing. It’s going to take the resource of time.”

It’s too bad Cruz and Clinton were so desperate to attack President Trump that they didn’t bother to get their facts straight first. But then, Democrats don’t generally restrict themselves to facts. Whatever makes the story more favorable to their argument is close enough to a fact for them.

  1. The word is the Puerto Rico government people have bled the country dry before the Hurricane. They should have been ready when it hit. If you see pictures of the people, they are standing around with their hands out, free loaders all. The people in Houston and Florida were all out helping clean peoples houses and the streets right after the water receded. Those people weren’t whining about supplies either.

  2. well dip shit Hillary, are you going to send them some of your stolen foundation money or the money you stole from our taxes? Get your facts straight before you open your ugly mouth.

  3. Tell this old witch to stuff a sock in her mouth. Good grief won’t she ever be arrested and tried for TREASON and put away forever?

I drove 18 wheelers for 30 years, if needed I will go to Puerto Rico and drive 12 hr. shifts or more if needed.

  5. One thing I’m sure of is that the elite class will make a profit off this.

I wonder if they would allow a not too old, retired driver who doesn’t have a CDL any longer come over and drive for them? Granted it has been awhile since I’ve been behind the wheel but it’s something you never really lose the ability to do. Besides, there must be some straight trucks being used as well. If anyone reading this knows how to go about offering services as a driver please post here or email me at [email protected].
