Sheriff David Clarke responds to the orchestrated interview of Hussein Obama by George Stephanopoulos in which Obama says that race relations have improved under his 8 years of agitation. He says that Stephanopoulos was “faking the funk, knows darn well that Obama lives in Fantasyland.”
Clarke says, “Obama misspoke. What Obama meant to say was ‘race relations have never been worse since I’ve become ‘president’ of the United States.’ Look, this guy has dealt in racial strife, it’s right out of Alinsky 101, you pit Americans against Americans for a number of reasons, race, gender, ethnicity, so on and so forth. And he’s thrived politically off of that.”
“The best thing about the Obama ‘presidency,'” says Sheriff Clarke, “is that there’s only eleven days left and Donald Trump, the election of Donald Trump, we have a chance in this country, to put this aside and to rebuild this nation again in terms of relations. Not just on race but between gender, economic, ethnicity, so on and so forth. And that’s why I’ve suggested one of the first things that President-elect Trump should do in his first 100 days is deliver a Gettysburg-type address, to being to help this nation heal.”
Clarke says, “This has been a very ugly chapter in terms of race relations in the history of the United States.” He points to the hypocrisy of Obama, both from his own experience as the elected Sheriff of Milwaukee County, a position which, in order to hold, he had to get the votes of people of all races. He also points out that Obama likewise achieved a broad racial spectrum of votes of various races and his attempts to label the American people as racist are a kick in the teeth on their way out the door. He adds, with visible disdain, “This guy is incredible.”
He’s asked to comment on the calls by communist Carl Dix Marxist Cornell West for people come out onto the streets and create havoc and to refuse to accept the vote of the people for Mr. Trump. Clarke says, “I hope they realize, when I say they, I know President-elect Trump already realizes but I don’t know about the GOP in Congress, this is going to be a street fight, this is going to be a brawl. They’re going to have to fight for everything that they want to see happen, based on the election results.”
“Look, the American people have spoken,” says Clarke, “Donald Trump’s base of support is a kaleidoscope. You had more blacks vote for him than any other GOP in recent history. You had more Hispanics vote for him than any other GOP candidate in recent history, so you look at those things. And I know they get plastered as well as just the white male, middle class whites, no that’s just not true.”
He says, “But I’ll tell you this much, the American people are tired of this nonsense. But the GOP in Congress are going to have to realize this is not going to be a white glove affair, they’re not going to be able to reach across the aisle and work with Chuck Schumer. They are going to have to play smash-mouth politics to help him with his agenda.”
