On the day following the Saturday tweet of March 4th in which President Trump accused Hussein Obama of “wire tapping” him, using that term to describe surveillance in general, Obama’s corrupt intelligence operative, Lyin’ James Clapper issued a denial on Obama’s behalf.
Clapper made an appearance with Chuck Todd, host of NBC’s Meet the Press, in which he quite specifically asked the former Director of National Intelligence if such a wire tap existed. We now know, from the CNN reports that two FISA warrants had been issued and one was likely still in effect at the time of the interview.
President Trump and his campaign chairman Paul Manafort, as well as unknown numbers of other individuals, were the subject of surveillance, something that Clapper admits, as he denies the true situation, he would have been aware of.
Are we to believe this is more of Clapper telling his falsehoods “not wittingly” or him lying to cover up for his own crimes and those of the corrupt Obama – Clinton regime he worked for?
In a manner befitting his fellow liar, Susan Rice, Clapper is doing the Sunday morning bailout of the regime by flatly making statements that are not true and which would eventually be revealed as lies. That time of revelation has arrived. Will there be consequences?
Todd asked the question referring to “this idea that maybe ‘president’ Obama ordered an illegal wiretap of his [President Trump’s] offices. If something like that happened would this be something you would be aware of?”
Clapper responds, “I would certainly hope so.” He says, “For the part of the national security apparatus that I oversaw as DNI, there was no such wiretap activity mounted against the President-elect at the time or as a candidate or against his campaign.”
He continues, “I can’t speak for other title 3 authorized entities in the government or a state or local entity.” Todd interjects, “I was just going to say, if the FBI, for instance, had a FISA court order of some sort for a surveillance, would that be information you would know or not know?”
Clapper said, “Yes,” to which Todd confirmed, “You would be told this,” and Clapper repeated, “I would know that. Yes. Something like this, absolutely.”
Todd said, “And at this point you can’t confirm or deny whether that exists.” Clapper disagreed, replying, “I can deny it.” Todd clarified, “There is no FISA Court order.” Clapper replied, “Not to my knowledge.” Todd drilled down, “Of anything at Trump Tower.” Clapper responded, “No.”
Todd called that statement “an important revelation” at the time, it certainly is starting to take on that characteristic now although the word “revelation” doesn’t seem to fit what it was that came out of Clapper’s mouth.”
