Barking With the Big Dogs

Today many women want to break into what has been known as the “men’s world,” doing things that men do beside the men who do them. Things such as network news anchor, sports broadcaster, airplane pilots, power and telephone lineman, armed forces, firefighters and many more occupations. They say they want to be paid the same wage that a man would be paid for the same job or position. Women have entered the political arena campaigning along side and against men and sometimes achieving their goals.

They declare that they are just as good, surely as smart and able as any man, and often by force, they insert themselves into various settings— even when their presence is unnecessary or unwanted— insisting it to be their right. They talk tough words assuring us that they are “down for the struggle,— until a man acts like, well, a man.

Today a man cannot compliment a woman without risk of being charged with sexual harassment; it’s absurd. All he has to do is say something to or about her and then it’s tears and whining things like, “How dare he treat a woman that way,”— Megan Kelley, Mika Brzezinski, Elizabeth Warren, and Hillary Clinton to name just a few.

Women, you cannot have it both ways. Either you are “one of the boys,” or you are a woman who feels, thinks, and acts like a woman. There is nothing wrong with that; I am happy to be a woman and proud to be a lady doing the things that I do best. When a gentleman compliments me, I smile and say Thank You. I like men, get along and work together well with men. Among the things in this world that we cannot change are science, physics, and nature. Men are men and women are women; it’s a wonderful thing.

If you want to be successful in any arena, rid yourself of the crippling female need for approval and take a lesson from Lady Margaret Thatcher, Prime Minister of United Kingdom, “I always cheer up immensely if an attack is particularly wounding because I think, well, if they attack one personally, it means they have not a single political argument left.”

If you can’t bark with the big dogs, get off the porch.

  1. I am happy for women to compete on a level playing field and accomplish as much as they can as long as the rules are the same for all. I am not for “women’s empowerment”, but, empowerment for all who can.

The “feminist” is all about reducing women into men and men into women. They are succeeding in destroying real women and the family with it. The family cannot function without real women guiding it.

    • There’s nothing wrong with telling a little girl she can grow up to be anything she wants. But the problem is that if she wants to be a wife and mother, she can no longer afford to do that. A husband’s wages used to go a lot farther than they do now. And it’s not as if he wants it that way either. Blame that on the feminists.

Pat, you are so right. And it is part of the destruction of society and the children. Few parents are having more than two, only replacing themselves because of cost, and when both parents are always at work, who raises the children? If it’s the grandparents that’s probably okay, but if it’s a day care center, then the children are not receiving the kind of training they’d get with mom at home. It’s sad, and you’re right, it was caused a good part by the radical feminists

Their blurring the lines of the sexes. Where’s the feline appeal ? With the removal of romantic love we’re left with a desire for what ? No music to dance to, it’s all noise and calisthenics. Just watch dancing with the stars!
I’m 80 so I grew up opening door and giving up my seat to women . When we dated we would put our arm around her in the movie. Old fashion stuff like showing affection and respect! Sir Walter Raleigh was the hero of the day, with the story of him laying his coat in the puddle for the lady a popular one. It was an example of how to impress a lady. It’s a social tragedy what we have done to the interactivity of the sexes ? Why even go there and attemp to have a trusting loving relationship? What with the modern day version of that being no trust of one another at all ,
Both work and have Their money and cards and attemp to share exspences . Children are raised by daycare and grandparents who guilt ridden over their parenting history attemp to get it right this time around and lay the world at the feet of the gran babies. Displine and mutual respect goes completely out the windows of life.
And we go about the world telling other societies how to live at gun point ? We now are making marawana legal in entire states ? It’s a nation gone insane and perverted and greedy and ignorant, where are our mission statement? President and the administration in under investigation for they think, think , well they think he ? They think he should not be president?
There’s a hymn title,” This world it not my home” it includes a line ” and I can’t feel at home in this world anymore ”
    AMEN
