With the upcoming inauguration and its associated distractions taking center stage, it’s easy to miss a couple of bills being offered by a few pro-amnesty, open border Lawmakers. Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Dick Durbin (D-IL) have reintroduced legislation to provide protection from law enforcement to illegal alien anchor children. It’s not their fault they’re here, we’re told, and, by the way, they’ll be petitioning to allow the illegal alien parents that brought them here to stay as well, once they’re given status. You heartless Americans wouldn’t actually break up families, would you?
The Bridge Act, having nothing to do with bridges and everything to do with those cute names they like to give to bull crap legislation to make it more attractive, is a legislative version of DACA, the executive order amnesty dictated by Hussein Obama. It’s an acronym for the Bar Removal of Individuals who Dream and Grow our Economy Act. If they don’t dream or if our economy remains stagnant, it doesn’t matter, it’s just a catchy name. Bar the removal of illegals would have been more accurate, but it’s not politically correct enough.
The bill provides “temporary” relief from deportation and work authorization to foreign youth who have documents in the country they belong in and cannot correctly be referred to as undocumented. They’re illegals or illegal aliens, not undocumented. Usual suspects Mike Coffman (R-CO) and Luis “the Roach” Gutierrez (D-IL) have companion legislation in the House.
In pitching his amnesty plan, Graham said, “It’s my firm belief most Americans want to fix a broken immigration system in a humane manner. In my view, the DACA Executive Order issued by President Obama was unconstitutional and President-elect Trump would be right to repeal it. However, I do not believe we should pull the rug out and push these young men and women — who came out of the shadows and registered with the federal government — back into the darkness. Our legislation continues to provide legal status to them for three years as Congress seeks a permanent solution.”
The two-headed beast of the corporate and political establishment, anti-American forces who demand cheap foreign labor never rests. They value their bottom lines more than the quality of life of middle-class Americans working in their own country at a decent wage and standard of living. Our individual prosperity and that of our nation aren’t important to them. The access to illegals as a substitute for American workers is the priority.
They will continue to push this addiction to foreign labor until they either run us to a poverty level where we make no more than the bargain-basement imports, eliminating the middle class that built this nation, or they will be defeated, through physical barriers, enforced legislation and the ballot box. These legislators don’t work for us, they work for those who benefit from cheap labor. They’re “just doing their job,” which includes killing all of ours.
