Senator Jeff Sessions appeared on the Special Report program with mainstream media shill Bret Baier, providing insight into Mr. Trump’s plan for the remainder of the campaign. He’s asked if the contract with America that Trump laid out in Gettysburg is the message that he will maintain through the remainder of the period of time leading up to Election Day.
Senator Sessions said that for the most part it is his closing argument, that the determining factor may well be whether people believe that Donald Trump can accomplish the change that the American people recognize by a 3 to 1 margin is needed.
Sessions says it is his belief that “what is missing in the intelligencia and the elites is that they disrespect that feeling. They think things are okay. But the American people are the ones that are right. Things are not going well for them. Politicians spend way too much time raising money with rich people who have an entirely different agenda than the single mom, the working guy who lost his job, the factory closed and those kind of things.’
“So this is a huge matter that’s going to be decided in November,” Sessions says. “It’s a chance for the American people to have their voice heard and if they believe Donald Trump really can get this done, I think they’re going to move to him in big numbers.
Baier quotes the naysayer “analysts” who view the personality of Trump as a negative, helping to feed the negative narrative that all of the media has embraced. Sessions notes that people like the fact that he’s not a smooth talking politician, that he’s real, sincere, and a “man of results.”
Sessions points to four issues that should be central to the decision of people to support Mr. Trump, including immigration, trade, Obamacare and federal corruption. He labels her as desperately wrong and radical on those issues. Baier chose to focus as well on the announcement by Mr. Trump that he will be seeking legal remedies against those who fabricated stories against him. Baier asked dismissively, “Was that the right move?”
Senator Sessions had a simple and direct response. He said, “He’s going to defend himself. That’s just part of his lifestyle and his belief that you don’t take shots and not defend yourself. But he spent 99.9% of that talk talking about great issues that are important to the American people and I think that’s what this election has got to be about.”
Baier then goes on to highlight some states that they are claiming have moved back to tossups, not surprisingly border states into which the regime has been pumping a replacement population, including Texas, Arizona and adjacent Nevada.
Picking up the mainstream media football and running with it, Baier asks about the still unsubstantiated claims that the Russians have “interfered” in US elections. That’s the same administration that attempted to overthrow Israel’s prime minister in their last elections now becoming indignant at the thought of someone giving them a taste of their own medicine. There are strong indications the source of the leaks is not the Russians but within our the NSA, who know the treasonous snake that Hillary Clinton is and are acting to let others in on the secret.
Sessions points out that regardless of the source, the importance of the criminal and other acts of Hillary Clinton cannot be overlooked simply because of the method which brought them to light. He disagrees with Baier’s position that it isn’t talked about enough, stating, “I think that Hillary Clinton wants to totally ignore the devastating information that’s shown in her team’s emails and she wants to blame it on Russia. There should be an investigation; I do not like these kind of activities, whether it’s the leak of security information or not. There needs to be an investigated, we need to know what happened.”
He says, “Just like the Pentagon Papers, the material is out there in the public realm and it’s necessary for us to observe what it means about her honesty, her integrity. She makes out like Donald Trump is the worst kind of person but when you read these emails you see that she has very serious ethical problems and the issues are what should decide this election and she’s wrong on them.
