Ryan Beat Wolf With The Constitution Like A Dog With A Rolled Up Newspaper
The full, entire interview with Wolf Blitzer was an endless stream of attempts to pit Ryan against Trump, to bait Ryan into attacking Trump. He adopted the most simplistic, childlike line of questioning, the Democrat mindset, in his questioning of Ryan, not to be too complex for Democrat comprehension. Clearly Blitzer has been ordered to shift into his general election, full leftist operative persona.
He asks why Ryan doesn’t submit to the Democrat Marxists’ demands for a vote on banning those on a no-fly list from purchasing a firearm. Wolfie shows a graphic, complete with an image of a terrorist holding a pistol to the back of someone’s head. It says 90% of Republicans want the ban the Democrats are asking for. Shouldn’t Blitzer be expelled, ushered out of the building for that type of hurtful, micro-aggressive triggering imagery?
The pollsters should have phrased the question a little differently, along the lines of how many want Loretta Lynch to decide if anyone is able to own a gun or to have the 2nd Amendment protections removed from the Bill of Rights. That is what little Wolfie doesn’t want anyone to know. It’s what his Democrat comrades are really up to.
Ryan makes three points; that the sit-in is nothing more than a publicity stunt, the same bill was already defeated in the Senate, and they’re not going to take away a citizen’s constitutional rights without due process. He also notes that sitting on the floor and disrupting the operation of the House is not the way one goes about bringing up legislation.
Ryan asks that they focus on the issue at hand, terrorism and work to prevent future attacks. Wolf wasn’t listening or maybe he’s a little unfamiliar with the Constitution, so he asks why Ryan won’t just bring it up for a vote and has to be told again.
Wolf move on to the next thing on his list, insinuating that since Ryan has received $36,800 over the course of 17 years from the NRA, he is not objective and that is the reason why he won’t act to trample the Constitution and our rights. He then asks if the NRA is the “key reason that nothing is happening either in the Senate or in the House of Representatives.”
Ryan answered succinctly, “No, the Constitution is.” It was a bit too succinct for little Democrat minds like Blitzer’s. Once again he had to explain what the Constitution has to do with the taking away of Second Amendment gun rights and the Fifth Amendment guarantee of due process as well.
He agrees that law enforcement should be notified if someone on a terror watch list attempts to purchase a firearm and that those mechanisms should be in place; but not the carte blanche nullification of our rights that the Democrats are after.
The confused Blitzer goes on to describe the House sit-in as the “Senate itself,” and then states that Ryan who is House Speaker called for a recess to turn off the television cameras.
Maybe Blitzer should study up on Article one in particular when he gets his hands on his first Constitution. It’s all explained there for him.
