Sen Rand Paul Believes In Equal Justice For All
Clinton Treated Differently – Anybody Else Would Already Be Behind Bars
Senator Rand Paul was asked the following question, “Recently you launched a campaign to hold Hillary Clinton accountable for her crimes. How are you going to accomplish that?” Senator Paul responded, “We’re all for it. I think an indictment would be a good idea, followed by a prison sentence.”
Paul is on the factor to provide a little more information on his call for accountability on the part of the former Secretary of State. He says, “You know I’m a big believer in equal protection under the law, whether you’re rich or poor, white or black, everybody should be treated the same under the law.” He reminds the viewers that he represents a lot of soldiers from both Ft Campbell and Ft Knox in Kentucky and they are unjustly being held to a standard that Hillary Clinton is not. He says, “I think anybody else in this situation would have been prosecuted,” pointed to the very different treatment handed out to General Petraeus.
Senator Paul says, “This is one among several reasons why I think that really her dishonesty should preclude her from really being considered for commander-in-chief.”
He’s asked why he thinks FBI Director Comey didn’t recommend an indictment against Hillary Clinton. Paul says his own personal theory is that Comey wanted to indict her and that he feels guilty that he didn’t. He says, “I think that’s why you’ve got this long, detailed explanation of how dishonest she was. You know she didn’t actually lie to the FBI during the testimony but she lied to the American people on multiple occasions. And he pointed this out in specific detail. And the FBI doesn’t have to do that so my sort of personal theory is that Comey feels a little guilty about not indicting her so therefore he spelled out for the American people so at least the voters can find out that she did lie many, many times to the public about whether or not she had classified email out there.”
Paul believes that she violated the law, that intent was not necessary component for a violation of a statute that merely requires the exercise of gross negligence. He tap dances around directly saying that the Clintons are above the law but clearly believes that they are being treated in that manner, that the Clintons are indictable and should be in prison. He says the American people should know that they’re in this to get rich to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars and the United States will be for sale if she gets the White House.
They also discuss some WikiLeaks information that indicates Hillary Clinton may have lied to Senator Paul and the Senate when she denied any knowledge of trafficking in weapons through the Benghazi outpost.
