The propagandist at Associated Press is acting as a Clinton spokesperson, attempting to diminish the obvious criminality and cover up of the Clinton and Democrat machinery to a mere campaign or political issue.
The “reporter” describes the Clinton campaign as finally recognizing that “the email issue has been a real drag on her campaign,” and that the question now is “whether the candidate herself has basically accepted that reality.” She continues, cutely describing Clinton as taking one step forward and two steps back. Claiming that Clinton accepts responsibility for her actions is nowhere close to reality, but that’s the reporter’s false contention.
Clinton has not accepted responsibility for anything, attempting only to plead well-intentioned ignorance and having made a bad decision to structure her email arrangement in the interest of convenience and evasive murkiness.
Convenience has nothing to do with it; what she is doing is obstructing and allowing time to pass, in hopes that she’ll ultimately get away with her criminal activities, as has always worked in the past. She’s obviously engaged in a cover-up, something that any non-biased reporter would not be describing as “two steps back,” but as a deliberate attempt to escape prosecution, potentially for espionage and treason.
The reporter acts as if the necessary remedy is a “broader apology,” grossly understating the serious nature of the offenses and what is necessary to resolve them. She describes citizens as being “generally confused” about what happened rather than the targets of deliberate deception which is leading to that confusion.
Some of that supposed confusion will likely be dispelled under the immunity deal which has reportedly been offered to Bryan Pagliano, the Clinton staffer who set up the whole email server deal and who recently vowed to plead the Fifth Amendment when facing investigation. Senators Charles Grassley (R-IA) and Ron Johnson (R-WI) reportedly agreed on Tuesday to an immunity offer in exchange for Pagliano’s testimony.
The Washington Post reporter notes that on October 22nd Clinton will testify before Congress regarding the Benghazi investigation, depicting that as her opportunity to show strength in the face of an “unfair partisan” investigation. She recalls the previous time when Clinton was given the softball treatment in Senate hearings which were designed to just make the problem go away. She described Clinton as giving a “strong performance,” then as if the issue is her presentation and public image, not her deception, treason, damage to our nation or the loss of life which occurred as a result of Clinton’s misdeeds.
The supposed free press is her greatest ally other than a gullible public the left, including their media operatives are unified in attempting to deceive.
The reporter says that the Clinton advisers hope that when she appears face to face with Republicans and hears her position that they will “be able to see this matter for what it is, and they hope that that is the public seeing this as a politically motivated witch hunt.”
It’s never a good idea for the Democrats or their media surrogates to use the term “witch hunt” when referring to Hillary Clinton. She’s not hard to find, and that is a most accurate description of who and what she is.
