Lou Dobbs – Justice Ginsburg Getting Weird
Bizarre Undignified Behavior A First For Supreme Court
Lou Dobbs opens by pointing out that Hillary Clinton is making this the fourth decade in which either a Bush or Clinton has been on the ballot, although not doing so from the perspective of it being something positive. Clinton would be the first woman also and Trump the first to be elected with no public service of any kind on his resume.
With that as his introduction, Dobbs moves on to the topic of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, an eighty-three-year-old Supreme Court justice who is making regular arguments, through her bizarre actions and outbursts, for term limits for the court.
Dobbs notes that Ginsburg is hurling insults at the Republican nominee of a nature unheard of in American history. “It just isn’t done,” says Dobbs, “at least it hasn’t been done until now.” He quotes Ginsburg when asked about a Trump presidency as replying, “I don’t want to think about that possibility.” Not very open minded for an ACLU liberal.
Ginsburg even raised the possibility of leaving the country if Trump were elected. Her comments were, “I can’t imagine what this place would be – I can’t imagine what the country would be with Donald Trump as our president. She also called Trump a “faker” in another CNN interview, according to Mr. Dobbs, who reminds us that Ginsburg was appointed by the current leftist candidate, Clinton’s husband, the same guy who made the deal in the airplane to keep her out of prison and running for office.
Trump called Ginsburg’s criticism “highly inappropriate” and a “disgrace to the court.” Trump expressed his hopes that the Justice will be vacating her position on the court as soon as possible.
Dobbs notes that the roundly criticized House, Senate and Executive branches of government can be joined in their public disdain by the Supreme Court. They were hovering in that territory before Ginsburg made her comments. All she did was push them the rest of the way over the edge.
